If you want to install a water tap in a new building, you should involve the best company experienced in pumbing that can do the work when you can’t do it , but if you can then you should consider the following steps during installation in the best case:
- Determine The Amount Of Material
First, install new angle valves. These must be sealed with hemp. To do this, roughen the thread with a saw blade by moving the saw blade across the thread across the sawing direction from top to bottom. This is important so that the sealing hemp holds on to the thread when the angle valve is screwed in.
- Wind Up The Sealing Hemp
Place the rosette on the angle valve before you wind up the sealing hemp. Then cut some threads of sealing hemp and start winding at the front of the thread. Wrap the hemp evenly thick in the threads up to the end.
- Apply Paste And Screw
Now apply a little more sealing paste to the sealing hemp and rub it evenly. Then screw the angle valve into the wall connection. An open-end wrench can be attached to some corner valves; if not, you can use pliers for fittings. These pliers have plastic jaws at the front so that the angle valve is not scratched. Do not turn the angle valve back when the endpoint is reached. If you still have to turn back because the last turn is difficult, screw the angle valve entirely out of the wall connection and seal it again, this time with a little less sealing hemp.
- Assemble The Faucet
First, prepare the fitting. If no connection hoses have yet been installed on the fitting, these are screwed in first. You don’t need any tools for this. To attach it to the washbasin, screw two threaded rods into the mixer from below. If these are designed for this, you can use a screwdriver. Then push the support plate onto the fitting from below. It is best to mount the faucet before the sink is attached to the wall.
- Assembly On The Sink
You can now mount the prepared fitting on the washbasinwashbasin. To do this, insert the two connection hoses and the threaded rods into the tap hole.
- Install The Faucet
The plastic base and then the washer isis attached from below. Now you can put the nuts on and screw them tight by hand. Now align the fitting again precisely at the top. Finally, tighten the two nuts with the open-end wrench. When the faucet is built-in, you can mount the sink. To do this, the drain valve and the siphon must be installed. Then attach the sink to the wall.
- Connect The Hoses
You connect the flexible connection hoses to the angle valves. To do this, unscrew the supplied screw connections from the angle valve – the connection hoses have their screw connections. Make sure that the sealing rings are inserted.
- Check The Water Connection
Finally, you can open the main water connection again. Check the corner valves to make sure that everything is tight. Now you can open the two corner valves and test the fitting.
- Mount The Faucet On The Vanity Column
Mount the faucet on the washstand column as long as the washstand column is freely accessible from behind. To do this, insert the connection hoses and threaded rods of the prepared tap into the tap hole.
- Screw And Connect The Connections
First put the plastic washer onto the tap from below, then the metal washer. Now screw the tap on. Connect the two connection hoses to the angle valves. To do this, unscrew the supplied screw connections from the angle valves – the connection hoses have their own screw connections. Make sure that the sealing rings are inserted.
- Open The Main Water Connection
You can now open the main water connection again. Check the corner valves to make sure that everything is tight. You can now open the angle valves and test the fitting. When everything is tight, you can hang the washstand column on the wall in the fastening provided and put it into operation. If you were not successful then you should involve experts in my area to do the work.
